Email support
For account, billing, technical, or product questions, email us at [email protected]. Include your device (iPhone or iPad), your app version, and a short description of what's happening — screenshots help us help you faster.
Typical response time: within 1–2 business days. We're a small team, so thanks for your patience — we get back to everyone.
Need urgent help with gambling right now? Support email isn't the place for a crisis. If you're in an active urge, spiraling after a loss, or thinking about harming yourself, call or text the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-522-4700 (1-800-GAMBLER). It's free, confidential, and available 24/7. According to the National Council on Problem Gambling, 1 in 5 people with a gambling disorder attempt suicide — you are not weak for reaching out. You're protecting your streak and your life.
FAQ
Common questions
The quick answers to what people ask us most.
You can download CashOut and start tracking your clean days for free. Some features — like the full Learn curriculum, unlimited chat with Ace your AI recovery companion, and advanced Progress analytics — are part of a premium subscription. Billing is handled securely through your Apple App Store account, so your payment details never touch our servers. You'll see the price and any free trial clearly before you confirm, and your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
Because billing runs through the App Store, you cancel from your iPhone settings — not inside CashOut.
On iPhone (App Store): Open Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → CashOut → Cancel Subscription.
You'll keep premium access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and your clean-day streak and progress stay saved either way.
You're always in control of your data. To remove it yourself, open the app and go to Settings → Delete profile & data. This permanently erases your profile, streak history, check-ins, and everything tied to your account — it can't be undone.
Prefer us to handle it? Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we'll process the deletion for you. Note that canceling a subscription and deleting your account are separate — if you're paying, cancel through your app store first (see above).
The Content Blocker is your front line — it blocks 150+ gambling sites and apps across 9 categories, including US sportsbooks (DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM), online and social casinos, daily-fantasy and pick'em apps (PrizePicks, Underdog), offshore and crypto books (Bovada, Stake), prediction markets (Polymarket, Kalshi), lottery couriers, horse racing, and online poker.
To turn it on, open Settings → Content Blocker and follow the on-screen steps to grant the permission your device needs. Pick the categories you want locked down, then save. For an extra layer of protection on the hardest days, enable Lockdown Mode so it's much harder to switch off in a moment of weakness. If a site slips through, email us the URL and we'll add it.
First: breathe. A slip is not the end of your recovery — it's a data point, not a verdict. Almost everyone who quits for good has a relapse somewhere in their story. What matters is the next move.
Open CashOut and start a fresh clean day. Use the Urge Tracker to log what triggered you — Loneliness, Boredom, Stress, a Big Loss, Money In — so you learn your patterns. Hit the Panic Button if the urge is still loud; play a quick distraction game or use the front-camera self-reflection to ride it out. Then talk it through with Ace, your 24/7 AI recovery companion, or post in the Community — people there have been exactly where you are. Reset, recommit to your Pledge, and keep going. Your progress before today still counts.
If the urge feels dangerous or you're in crisis, call 1-800-GAMBLER right now.
Deleting the app from your phone removes the app, but it doesn't automatically delete your account. If you sign back in on the same or a new device, your streak, milestones, and history come back with you. If you truly want everything gone, use Settings → Delete profile & data inside the app first, or email support — that's the permanent step.
Yes. Recovery is personal, and we treat it that way. Your check-ins, urges, and chats with Ace are yours. Payments are handled by Apple and Google, so we never see your card details. For the full picture of what we collect and how it's used, read our Privacy Policy. You can delete everything at any time from in-app settings.
Email [email protected] and a real member of our team will get back to you, usually within 1–2 business days. Tell us your device and app version and what's going on. For anything urgent involving gambling harm or your safety, don't wait on email — call or text 1-800-GAMBLER, available 24/7.
